Data deletion.
You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. Here is how, and what happens next.
Last updated: 4 November 2026. This applies to every way you may have reached us: this website, our lead forms on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google, phone, WhatsApp, email and our sales galleries.
1. How to ask
- Email hello@maxxanproject.com with the subject "Data deletion request".
- Write to Data Protection Officer, Maxxan Realty, Lot 8, Lorong Teknologi A, Taman Sains Selangor, Kota Damansara, 47810 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
- Tell any of our advisors during a call.
Please include your full name and the mobile number you gave us (and your email address, if you gave one), so we can find your records.
2. Confirming it is you
To protect you, we may call or message the mobile number in our records to confirm the request came from you. We never ask for your password or your IC number.
3. What we do
Once we have confirmed your request, we act within 21 days:
- We stop all calls, messages and follow-ups to you.
- We cancel any upcoming gallery visits.
- We delete your name, mobile number, email address, call notes, messages, financial details and the forms you sent us from our system, and your record from the app our advisors use to follow up enquiries (Privyr).
- We confirm in writing that it is done, by email if you gave us one.
4. What we keep, and why
- Your mobile number on our do-not-contact list. This is the only way to make sure we never contact you again, even if your number reaches us again through an advert or a list. We keep nothing else with it except the reason and date of your request.
- Records that no longer identify you, such as the number of enquiries a campaign produced, so that our statistics stay correct.
- Records the law requires us to keep. If you booked or bought a property through us, booking and sale records are kept for as long as tax and company laws require, normally 7 years.
- Security logs of actions in our system, kept for 7 years to protect against misuse, and backups, which are overwritten within 14 days.
5. Data held by others
If we passed your details to a developer, its lawyers or a bank, we tell the developer about your request. You can also contact them directly for the copies they hold.
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google keep their own copy of the lead forms you send through them, under their own privacy policies. To delete those, use the privacy settings of the platform concerned.
6. Only want to stop marketing?
You do not need to delete your data to stop hearing from us. Reply STOP, BERHENTI or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message, or tell any of our staff, and we stop marketing to you straight away.
